The *Brown Acid* compilation series is a hidden gem for fans of vintage hard rock and proto-metal. Curated by the folks at RidingEasy Records, this series unearths ultra-rare tracks from obscure bands that once dreamed of rock stardom in the late 60s and early 70s. Each volume in the series features songs from young, ambitious bands that were heavily influenced by the likes of Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, and other early heavy rock pioneers.
Many of the singles included in the *Brown Acid* series are incredibly rare, with original vinyl copies often fetching over $1000 if you can even find them. These compilations serve as a time capsule, preserving the raw energy and creativity of an era when rock was evolving into something heavier and more intense.
Listeners are treated to a mix of heavy riffs, psychedelic grooves, and powerful vocals, showcasing the diverse sounds and styles that these young bands experimented with. For collectors and enthusiasts, *Brown Acid* offers a unique opportunity to explore the underground rock scene of the past, bringing forgotten gems back into the spotlight.

Cowboy Carter next? From Philippines here 🇵🇭
have you listened billie new album?
Hey Vinyl, alright buddy? Hey... have you reacted to any Brazilian music yet? We have a great popular music tradition. You would certainly enjoy our (probably) top album, Clube da Esquina. Beaaaauutiful. Insanely beautiful. Brazilian music with some Beatles influence.
I play Brasilian music quite often, have many records. Tune in to our radio show sometime, say hello!👋 twitch.tv/vinyljunkies
@@VinylJunkies666 Great, dude. I'll follow you! Great job, by the way.
The way i find out about music is eighter from my parent's old vinyls, the internet, and more recently I've mostly been exchanging music tastes with my friends who I made at collage. When it comes to internet, its not just that i listen to suggestions, i also tend to find artist collectives or artists related in some way and try to manually expand my tastes, when i go to clubs and stuff i also get it there. I discovered gecs through memes and people shitting on them, eighter because they dont like the hyperpop movement or because Laura is trans and they are being transphobic, when I was in my edgy phase i was ironically listening until it clicked, and I understood.
Luckily I grew up knowing that Bono was an ass from things like South Park making fun of him and other things, so I never listened to his music. I can see how that would turn you off if you thought Thom sounded like him
Just bought this album on vinyl. Loved it for many years.
Halo: combat evolved original soundtrack is my favourite!
Is I’m t possible to use ethyl instead of isopropyl
Phenomenal album, very spiritual experience. A very bittersweet experience for me also, it makes me feel like I've lived a selfish life, only worried about myself. I have no idea why. It feels like this is Sander's last message to the world, one final piece of his legacy. It makes me wonder - when I'm gone, what will my legacy be? Will I have touched others lives? I don't feel like I have yet. Strange experience -beautiful, and sad.
I will always love The Bends the most of their discography. It speaks to me on such a deep level I'm always surprised when people knock it. OK Computer is a close second. Then I didn't really like much after that until In Rainbows which is a wonderful piece of music
This guy is iconic
Thanks
please react to billie eilish’s new album
I can't take anyone seriously who doesn't like Meshuggah. Where do you think all of the most recent metal bands get all their shit from? Meshuggah.
Give me a break
Listening to all this expertise held by a niche aficionado, I can only think of one thing: “I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.”
Hello, i‘m a big fan of you😊, can u pls react to the new billie eilish album? 🙏🏽 Love your reactions and keep up the good work, you amazing soul. i wish you and your family great health, success and happiness! Kind regards A.S
Question that came to mind during this. Do you approach listening to a concept album differently than just a normal album release?
This isn’t her whole album the vinyl only has 10 songs for some reason but the whole album is 22 songs long
Not kidding, I have mishummed dumbest girl slices riff as crazy train so many damn times lmao
Your wasting your money on those square storage vinyl box cubes. And never stack vinyl to high especially living in California. If you want to know what is the best for storage give me a holler. And I will explain - thanks for reading my comment (from 976-CREOLEMAN).
who tf is Bongo
Bono the U2 singer lol
Cool.
Metal never die Sam😊
Never
Your response at 34.30 is my response.
Voivod
Both are awesome
that's the answer Voivod tho....
I may be a bit late, but after all, there is no time too late to appreciate art. I just wanted to say that I’ve noticed that you’ve stayed calm with almost no reaction throughout this whole album. This felt odd for me, as all of these folks on the Internet just overreact, maybe for attention, maybe just to simply enjoy because they’re young after all, and that is the beauty of youth. This calmness and patience throughout a whole album 8 hours long really reflects your wisdom and experience here on Earth. I really appreciate that you do all of what you do for the sake of our enjoyment. Such a simple purpose, but such a complex and beautiful one at the same time. I’ve liked and subscribed with all noticfications turned on. After all, that’s the least I could do to show my gratitude for your amazing work that you’ve made just for us. Much love, and thank you.
you would love Persona 5 soundtrack, very jazzy and stylish. "Ludwig, The Accursed", from Bloodborne, is my favourite video game theme of all time. followed by "City of Tears" and "White Pallace", both from Hollow Knight". btw, do you know The Last Shadow Puppets? you should try their first album, man: it's a romantic western-like album with a lot of Scott Walker influence. I believe you would really enjoy it.
yeah i know its 2 years but watching this over, as a caretaker fan i do apologise about the nerdy fucks that just dont shut up about the analysis and all that jazz. just appreciate the music.
They’ve moved onto the next trend…

Just picked up everything is alive on vinyl so I’m browsing the web to find out more about slowdive. I’m envious of your show, would love to be doing something like this.
Hello Sir, my name is Charlie Rouse Jr. my father and Monk perform together for over a decade he was the featured saxophone player player from 1959 to 1970. He’s in mini mini stories with Monk and Nica. I have many stories for you she actually used to babysit me. When dad and Monk were performing together. Nice listening to some of your story. Stay well! CRJr.
Don Caballero, For Respect
Sam!
Charickter! Long time no see! Come catch the show on Twitch sometime, say hello!
Thanks for the heads up, Sammy!
sorry the autotune :,)
On "Protector"..."Oh this is lovely"... my thoughts exactly! That song is so heartwarming, just beautiful. On "Daughter"... "I am legit in awe"... again, my thoughts exactly! I also agree on "American Requim." It's the best album opener that comes to my mind. On "II Hands II Heaven"... "Fantastic...I like this one too"... ditto! Regardless of the genre, I love this album from start to finish, "genuinely blown away" is a great way to put it.
Beyoncé's Reninance Album will be appreciated plz Edited- ignore my grammar
the album before Lemonade called "Beyonce" (2013) is amazing too, right there with Lemonade.
I strongly encourage you to listen to full album on a streaming platform. Otherwise you’ll be missing some extremely important and exciting songs. Such as Spaghettii, Ya Ya, and Flamenco. Not to mention the interludes by Linda Martell.
The entire premise of this album reveals itself with what Dolly chimes in on at the entry of Tyrant when she invokes Beyonce not by calling her "Ms. Beyonce", but rather: "Cowboy Carter". From this point going forward for anyone who anticipates "typical country", it may feel like a big letdown. It is anything but typical country. Musically it includes everything but the kitchen sink. R&B, trap, soul, funk, rap, hip hop, blues, traditional country, rock, pop. All stitched together by an overlay of country. What is this you are hearing? It is AMERICANA. Just one of the 27 different catagories of the country music genre that includes all these elements blended together and so much more. THIS is what Beyonce forewarned us about before the release of this album. Expect the unexpected. And rightly Wickepedia and so many other sources list this album under the description of Americana. If you do like it, you are in for a grand treat. If you don't like it turn it off and move on with your life. If it sounds strange and so different but your willing to give it a shot, after a few listenings surprisingly it may grow on you. Whatever your reaction is Beyonce don't mind. Hell she did exactly what she came to do! Linda Martell explained it best in "The Linda Martell Show" that genres as a defintion are an artifical concept, made up not for the sake of music, but for commercialism. Choose to stay boxed in them or stretch out your mind and feel free to step over into other ones and move about freely. Beyonce got knocked out of country but got back up and ventured right back into it and dragged some outside elements along with her. And NO she is not the first to do this. But its her enormous talents, disciplined approach to music, global popularity that makes so many people insecure and threatening by her. This time she comes as a historian on top of that! For me this is a cultural phenomenon. And an album made up with such smooth and seemless transitions the listener swears its is only one continuous song but in reality he just heard 2 or 3 seperate songs! Genius! This IS an album. An audible story, even a mental musical visual. One that so many listen too as one continuous unit from beginning to end. Call it whatever the heck you want, Me? It is a Masterpeice!
She never said that r was a country record
React to Plastic Hearts by miley (her best album)

Beyoncé said “this ain’t no country album, it’s a Beyoncé album….I’d say it’s more country inspired with some pop r&b gospel funk 60s and 70s era
FYI just in case you did not know the vinyl version are missing some great songs from the full 27 song record Cowboy Carter. It was speculated that the vinyl was made earlier and was probably meant to be called act ii Beyince. Also I heard there is a max amount of minutes you can have on vinyl. Beehive believes later on, she added more songs and renamed the record cowboy carter. Lastly, in the famous words of Beyonce, she said "this aint no country album it's a Beyonce album."
